Dear Amsterdam,
In the early mornings, as the first rays of sunshine lighten up your canals, I find myself smiling. I know I should savor every second, for those warm rays will soon be replaced by cold days and rainy clouds. Yet, I already know, that your charm will make up for it. My bike has seen every inch of your colorful streets. From West to East and north to south, stories are everywhere to be found. Stories in which I have found a connection.
You captivate me because of the history I have created here. I found community in the West, where my friends and I echo throughout your streets. In Noord, where creativity knows no boundaries. In East, hidden charms and constant innovation surprise me at every corner. And Zuid, you remind me of your enduring grace and refined artistry. In whatever corner, I feel freedom, freedom to express all different parts of myself.
You, Amsterdam, are the embodiment of fashion’s true essence: ever changing, playful, and endlessly inspiring. BIAS. wants to thank you for being you. Your creativity inspired us in many ways. You’re a home to all of us. For the creators, the lovers and the observers. You are a blank canvas for us to paint on. Don’t worry, there is still an abundance of space for new stories. We are sure it will be filled to the corners.
Thank you for being a home and inspiration to us.
Forever yours,
BIAS.
